The way I protect my online identity is by encrypting my passwords. Usernames are usually pretty obvious and easy to guess, so it would probably be better for me if I made my username harder to get. I really don’t worry about people get onto my Facebook account because they probably wouldn’t and because I could still get back on it and change my password if they did. If I get an online banking account one day I’m going to use capital, lowercase, numbers, letters, and symbols to make it the hardest word to get ever. Plus I’ll either put a few firewalls on my computer, Norton antivirus on it, and/or encrypt my files and passwords as well to stop anybody from getting my information.
